Mission Statement
The Village Inclusive Party is comprised of Democrats, Republicans and Independents. Voters concerned about the future of the Village of Mount Kisco. Residents concerned about their neighborhoods and the quality of life. Our mission is to preserve our parkland, conservation areas and valuable natural resources. Prevent the commercialization of our residential neighborhoods. Fiscal restraint, discipline and respect for taxpayer dollars. Transparency is a key component of our mission. It is imperative that zoning changes be properly noticed, explained and not approved until all voices are heard.
Mike Cindrich
Mike Cindrich
J. Michael Cindrich has lived in Mount Kisco for over fifty years. He and his wife Linda, raised their family here and all four children attended the Bedford Central Schools.
Michael is a former Mamaroneck Town Police Lieutenant and was a US Department of Justice, DEA Deputy Special Agent. He was decorated and recognized for heroism and exceptional contribution to law enforcement, by the New York State Attorney General, the US Attorney for the Southern District, the New York Drug Enforcement Administration, the American Legion, Town of Mamaroneck and Westchester County. He served as the building Inspector for the Town of North Castle and proudly served as a United States Marine.
Michael was the proud Mayor of Mount Kisco, for 14 years, representing all the people of the Mount Kisco community. He served as Deputy Mayor and Village Trustee, before being elected Mayor.
Besides raising his children with his wife Linda, community service has always been a priority for Michael. He has been a volunteer in Mount Kisco for over 46 years. He was Chairman of the Zoning Board of Appeals for 9 years, a member of Mount Kisco Special Police for 9 years, Mount Kisco Little League Coach for 11 years, Life Member and Volunteer of the Mount Kisco Ambulance Corps. Mount Kisco Junior Football Coach and an active member of MKESA and the Fox Lane Sports Club. He is also a volunteer and proud supporter of the Guiding Eyes for the Blind.
The former mayor is also a current member of the American Legion, Knights of Columbus, Italian American Club of Northern Westchester, the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Federation of Police and a former member of the Board of the President’s Council of Northern Westchester Hospital.

Theresa is a 33 year resident of Spring St, Mt Kisco. She and her husband raised 5 children in the Village, and her children were students in the BCSD, K through 12. Theresa’s children participated in many of the Recreation programs offered by the Village over the years. Theresa was a very active parent volunteer when her children were school students.
Theresa is a member of the Mt Kisco Historical Society. She is also part of our Trail Team, doing periodic clean-ups, maintenance, and observation of the trails. Theresa was a key member of the “Save Leonard Park” group, and worked tirelessly to protect the park from the siting of a cell tower, and the construction of a road in the forest there. Theresa is a proven conservationist who loves and values our green spaces, and understands how being in nature improves our health and our lives.
Theresa has been an outspoken advocate for those who cannot speak for themselves. She has consistently fought against injustices, and has been working on issues pertaining to safety on our trails, and pedestrian safety in our Village. Being a daily runner in Mt Kisco has given Theresa a unique perspective on safety, and she plans to use that knowledge to help improve the quality of life in the Village. Theresa plans to work hard for ALL Mt Kisco residents, and listen respectfully to their ideas and concerns. Theresa is a baccalaureate prepared Registered Nurse, having been awarded “Nurse of Distinction” awards on several occasions. Theresa is a member of Team RWB New York City Chapter, helping veterans prioritize their health and well-being through physical and social activity. Theresa’s hobbies include running, hiking, creating pollinator gardens, and raising and releasing monarch butterflies.
Angie Garcia-Guerra

Angie Garcia-Guerra has lived in Mount Kisco since 2019. Angie is an educator who is currently homeschooling her son. She organizes educational and recreational activities to enrich the homeschooling experience of her growing network while supporting local businesses. Angie and her son enjoy utilizing the recreational programs offered in the Village of Mount Kisco such as tennis, robotics, soccer, etc. Angie, along with her husband and son, have been able to build a strong diverse community in Mount Kisco through collaboration and support.
Angie comes from a family of dedicated public servants and has always been driven by social service. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science with plans of pursuing a legal career. Angie's professional experiences in legal firms and nonprofits led her to the conclusion that she could best serve as an educator. She went on to receive two Master's Degrees in Education and was a classroom teacher for over a decade. Angie has always be an advocate for the people she has served. Angie is bilingual and sees a great opportunity to continue serving in Mount Kisco and its diverse population.
Angie currently serves on the Climate Smart Committee. She was integral in the grassroots effort to educate the community on the proposal to install a cell tower in Leonard Park. She then became active in the Save Leonard Park movement. The experience prompted her to become more involved in our local government. Angie wants to work towards improving our community and help neighbors work together to build a safe and thriving community.
